I am an Australian Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the School of Advanced Studies, University of Tyumen. I work at the intersection of metaphysics, logic, and cross-cultural philosophy across Buddhist–Taoist and Graeco-Arabic/Neoplatonic lineages. My research programme treats metaphysics as the first philosophy; I employ an Aristotelian logic of discovery to link the first principles to a broad range of philosophical disciplines, such as Buddhist thought, ontology, AI, the philosophy of science, and so on. I co-organise and edit the international Buddhism & Neoplatonism symposium series with Chisokudō and serve as lead editor of the ‘American Philosophy’ series project with Routledge.
