Dr. Dayton Lekner is Marie Curie Fellow at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He writes and translates histories of 20th century China. His own research been published in leading journals such as Modern China, Twentieth Century China, and The Journal of Asian Studies. His translations have been published by Harvard University Press, Columbia University Press, and in Contemporary Chinese Thought. As current editor of the online journal and website Revisiting the Revolution, he brings to the project a proven track record of bringing the most important and influential Chinese language historiography to a wider Anglophone readership.
