Housing

NTU provides accommodation on campus for full-time faculty members and visiting scholars, with limited availability. Your host department can assist you in finding accommodation best suited to your needs.

If you plan to stay near NTU for short period of time, please refer to the following options

NTU’s Visiting Scholars Dormitory 客座學人宿舍 (Wenzhou Street Guesthouse)

Suitable for visiting scholars coming for a few months. The accommodation fee is charged per month, and the utilities fees are charged on a separate bill bimonthly. For room information, please visit the Faculty & Staff Housing, Office of General Affairs’ website.

Due to limited number of rooms of the visiting scholar dormitory, please ask your host department to apply it for you as early as 6 months before moving in, if you prefer this option.

Hsiu Chi House

Located next to the main campus, the Hsiu Chi House 修齊會館 is operated by Prince Housing and Development Cooperation. It welcomes both long and short-term stays.

Just Sleep, Taipei NTU

JustSleep, Taipei NTU 捷絲旅臺大尊賢館 is located right on the edge of the main campus and offers discounts for NTU scholars. It welcomes both long and short-term stays. For other off-campus hotels, NTU visiting scholars may receive an NTU discount at Howard International House (opposite the NTU Sports Center), The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei (15min by taxi), and The Corner House near Da’an Forest Park and Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT station (10min by bus).
