Full Time International Faculty (FTF) are full-time faculty at NTU. International FTF enjoys the full right and obligations of any full-time faculty at NTU.

International Chair Scholar
Chair Scholars are non full-time faculty recruited by NTU individual department/ programs. Three types of hiring status as follows:

Visiting Scholar
Visiting scholars are individuals whose primary purpose for residence on the NTU campus is to conduct research and/or lectures. The applicant shall not possess a student identity when applying for the program.

Exchange Faculty/Fellowship Scholar
Short-term scholars with Fellowships or scholarships, two main category as below:
- Fee exemption of NTU visiting scholar fee – Exchange Scholar, Fulbright Scholar
- Taiwan Fellowship/ NCL Awardees/ Fellowship by projects and et cetera.
