Dr. Kai-Chun Chang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Earth Resources Engineering, Kyoto University (KU). He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2009, and then worked as a post-doctoral researcher in NTU for 2 years, as a research fellow in KU for 4 years, and as a Junior Associate Professor in KU for 8 years. His studies mainly focus on developing bridge health monitoring techniques and systems, solving bridge dynamics and vibrations problems, and integrating signal processing techniques that support the above tasks.
