Prof. In-Hyeok Park is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Analytical Science and Technology (GRAST) at Chungnam National University (CNU) in Daejeon, South Korea. He obtained his B.Sc. (2010) and Ph.D. (2015) degrees from the Department of Chemistry at Gyeongsang National University (GNU) in Jinju, South Korea, under the guidance of Prof. Shim Sung Lee at GNU and Prof. Jagadese J. Vittal at the National University of Singapore (NUS). During his doctoral studies, he was awarded a prestigious POSCO TJ Park Doctoral Fellowship by the POSCO TJ Park Foundation. His Ph.D. thesis earned him an Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Award from the Korean Chemical Society in 2015. Additionally, he received the S-OIL Excellent Thesis Award (Grand Prize) from both the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) and the Korean Association of University Presidents in the same year. Recently, he was honored with the Miwon Young Scientist Award from the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. Before joining CNU, Dr. Park held postdoctoral positions at GNU with Prof. Shim Sung Lee (2015−2016), at NUS with Prof. Kian Ping Loh (2016−2020), and at Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea, with Prof. Ok-Sang Jung (2020). His current research focuses on crystalline organic-inorganic hybrid materials, particularly metal-organic frameworks and hybrid perovskites.
